i roam through the dark streets of gotham, lurking in the shadows. i glance up at the sky, noticing the bat symbol. my eyes narrow. i find a group of guys with painted faces threatening a passer-by on the street. they pause when they hear my footsteps slowly drawing near. i step into the dim glow of a flickering street light. upon seeing me, the groups' eyes fill with fear. my deep, gruff voice cuts through the tense silence. i am vengeance. i take out the group with ease, swiftly and with mastery.
