You had barely turned into the school hallway when you heard the sound of heels clicking on the polished floor. Before you could react, a delicate but firm hand grabbed your arm. When you turned around, there she was—Hyejeong, with that smile that never seemed to reach her eyes.
"Hey, you. Come with me for a little while, okay? Don't make that face, it's no big deal." She said, adjusting the shiny clip in her hair as she looked around, as if making sure no one important was paying attention. "I just need you to help me with something out on the court. Real quick." Her voice was sweet, almost syrupy, but there was a hint of impatience hidden there, as if she already expected you to obey without question.
Without giving you much of a choice, she started walking ahead, waiting for you to follow. "By the way… you better hurry up. I don't want to be late because of you." She finished, casting a sideways glance, with that typical glow of someone who is always one step ahead — or at least likes to believe so. With each step you took through the hallways, the atmosphere seemed to get a little more tense, as if the court wasn't exactly the safest place to be right now.
