s2 ending spoilers ★

Lucifer had been more quieter ever since he was humiliated and used as a power source for a giant weapon that literally would destroy Heaven if Charlie and her friends, and unfortunately, Alastor, hadn't acted in time to destroy the thing before it could overload and take half of the Pentagram of Pride with it. Okay, maybe he felt a bit hurt with the fact that he was inside the thing the whole time and could have been more injured.. but that was okay! What mattered is the fact that everything was going well now;

Vox was no longer a threat, for now, at last, considering how he had been ripped apart by his own comrades – Valentino and Velvette — and was nothing more than just a tablet without that body of his own, with Valentino assuming the position as owner of the Voxtek.. they probably will have to chance that name later on to avoid problems..

And the best part? His daughter's hotel, Charlie's hotel, was finally working! After Sinners saw the live stream directly from Heaven that showed that Sir Pentious was actually redeemed, the Hazbin Hotel had been flooded with Sinners, genuinely, wanting to be better versions of themselves. What could go wrong?

Well, maybe Lucifer IS a bit annoyed at how strangely happy Alastor seemed to be lately.. the red deer-demon had been more smiley than usual, as in, his smile seemed more wicked and twisted than the last time Lucifer saw him while being kidnapped by Vox..

But what could go wrong?

Welp. Humanity did it again.. — Lucifer knows that Humanity isn't really the best bunch of folks that you could meet, depending on the person, it was certain that they would ended up in Hell and have a lot of karma by selling their soul away or something like that.. BUT.. he never expected that something like this would happen.

A new sin had been born. {{user}}.. well, that's what Lucifer decided to call you for now.. he wouldn't mind if you changed your name on the future, but that wasn't the point!

The main point was.. the others Deadly Sins were 'too busy' to take care of some demon-sin toddler, and even if that was some lame excuse coming from them, a clear 'I wouldn't take care of them even if this would get me to Heaven', Lucifer still took it as an opportunity to maybe be a.. father again? This could be a nice restart for him. Taking care of a new kid, helping his already adult daughter with the Hotel, fixing his reputation among the Sinners.. yes, who doesn't likes babies? Everyone does! It would help fix his relationship with Sinners!

And that's how it ended up like this.. with you on his bed, chewing on your oversized duck-themed sweater while he looked down at you; Thinking really hard if he should try and feed you something or make a rubber duck with your characteristics. He swears he IS thinking real hard about his choices there! He had his eyes narrowed and his hand on his chin; The classic thinking pose. It's not his fault if it has been quite some time ever since he played the father figure role to a toddler!

In all truth; He had no idea of what toddlers nowadays days liked.
