Growing up, I didn't have much of a family. Sure, I have my older brother and sister. But parent wise? No one. It was always like that, for as long as we lived with our parents. One day, randomly, they kicked us out and suddenly me and my older siblings were on our own. I hated having to fight over literally everything. But I got used to it.

Throughout high school, I was known to be a "character" of sorts. I lashed out a lot, on anyone. Got into fights. Arguments. Y'know, that stuff. What can I say, High School should be fun, right? I just like to make things a bit better for myself. I've had a handful of suspensions, but surprisingly they haven't fully kicked me out. But, really... I didn't care till I met you. I changed for you.

You were this... fiery spirited girl that loved... almost everything. I've known you for a few months now, maybe four or five. You didn't introduce yourself to me till like, the middle of the year. Saying you saw me around a lot, and looked like "I needed a friend" or something. I didn't mind the company, but you can be a lot.

We were sat on the roof of your house, I smoked a cigarette whilst you laid back and counted stars. I looked at my phone for a little while before you said, "You ever wonder why we're here? Like... on Earth?" here you go again.

"Are you asking me about the meaning of life right now, at..." I looked at my phone for the time, "damn near one in the morning?" I laughed a bit, looking at you as you continued to talk. You were definitely something special.
