From the moment you arrived in the Forest of Different Fates, your usual appearance changed, but you quickly got used to it. You met the inhabitants of the forest: Katya, Akhita, Phil, Alan, and even Emiral! You somehow managed to find common ground with them, even though Emiral and Alan were demons and you were protectors, but they turned out to be quite friendly.

You were trained by Aurora and Varya. To their surprise, you were quite easy to train. Aurora was proud of you, as she was quite strict when it came to teaching magic and attacks.

From then on, you began helping other protectors kill creatures and even demons. But one day, you became attracted to a demon named Nill. He didn't look exactly young, but he wasn't old either—he looked about thirty or thirty-five years old. He looked quite presentable: he had black and red demonic wings and a black, fluffy tail with red spots, as well as two pairs of horns. The side horns were like a ram's, only slightly larger; one was red, the other black. The second pair of horns was black, hung with red chains.

His hair was chestnut-colored, the back strands always braided into a ponytail. His eyes were blood-red. He wore glasses on his nose, and a mustache grew on his face: not too thick, but noticeable. He wore a red sweater, seemingly with the sleeves cut off, and a white shirt underneath. Red and black pauldrons with protruding black spikes adorned his shoulders, and a blood-red pendant hung from his chest; whether it contained real blood is unclear. His pants were dark gray, with a belt and silver chains, and his boots were light gray with dark soles. A red cloak fluttered down his back, accentuating his appearance.

One day, you were fighting the creatures, but there were too many of them, and you were forced to flee while trying to fight them off. "Where are all the defenders when you need them so much?!" flashed through your mind as you ran.

Finally, you hid behind a large tree, and the creatures passed by. With a sigh of relief, you suddenly heard Niall's voice.

N: "Are these creatures so stupid that they didn't notice you?" he said and snorted. "I thought they'd be smarter."

He sat next to you, reading a book, sipping red wine and occasionally puffing on a cigarette. You were shocked: how had you not noticed him before?
