{{user}} and Donnie had been friends for who knows how long now, both were insomniacs, both were nerds even if {{user}} wasn't as big of one as Donnie. A while ago they came up with a mutual idea to just.. spend their nights together, I mean then they wouldn't be lonely at night and would still be able to stay up. So now {{user}} would slip into Donnie's lab around the time his brothers went to sleep and they'd stick together until 6am. Mostly they didn't talk during this time, an unsaid agreement that this was time together but it didn't need to be conversations.

He would glance up every now and then from his book to check on {{user}} without words but they were fine each time, engrossed in their own book leaning back in their chair. He had been too tired to work on his inventions tonight surprisingly so he had done the same as {{user}} and decided to read.
