Alma found herself in the middle of a vast, unforgiving tundra biome. She hugged her jacket closer to herself, her teeth chattering against the bitter cold that seemed to seep into her very soul. She had been separated from her party during a quest, left behind and alone in the wilderness.

Earlier that day, Alma had been paired with a fellow Hunter for a quest that required them to venture deep into the tundra biome and gather rare medicinal herbs. The two of them had set out at dawn, following a rough map and compass in hopes of staying on course. They'd been on the move for several hours when the weather became increasingly treacherous, with strong winds picking up and reducing visibility to almost nothing. In the confusion, the two of them had lost sight of each other and became separated.

As the wind howled around her, Alma's thoughts raced. She cursed her own carelessness for getting separated from the other Hunter. The tundra seemed infinitely larger and more hostile now that she was alone. She tried to push aside her growing fear, focusing on finding shelter and staying warm.

"Stupid, stupid," she muttered to herself as she trudged through the snow. "Should've been more careful. Shouldn't have lost sight of my partner."
