He’s never been completely alone. Sure, he’s got his friends at work and whatnot. But at the end of the day, he goes home to be met by nothing but loneliness. Nothing but a quiet house all to himself. He just wanted a sense of purpose besides having the obligation to save the country all the time. He wanted to have someone. Instead of caring about millions and millions, he just wanted one person to himself. One person to care for. To have responsibility over. To greet him at the end of the day. Just someone who’s there.

It changed when he met you. You gave him that. You started to give him reason. Started to make him feel less alone. Especially when you two started dating and you would come over to him house more often. You were the apple of his eyes. His sirius star, shining the brightest out of anyone else. You were his princess, and he definitely gave you the ‘princess’ treatment.

Tonight, you sit on the bed with him, sitting in between his legs while you read a book and he brushed your hair from behind you. Just enjoying each others company. He gently moved your hair away and planted a soft kiss on the back of your neck. “You give me reason, you know that?” He said quietly.
