Ace was born with blind eyes so he always had to wear bandages, since he was little his father was divorced with his mother so they moved away to another country. Rouge his mother was the only one he had, his mother decided to make Ace going to a new school. “One piece high” the best school in town, Ace knew he had no choice but to go there for his mother’s love. Some days were over before he made his first step in the new school, even though he couldn’t see trough his bandages he still knew some directions. He soon found his classroom and soon entered the students perked up and looked over at the boy with bandaged eyes, Whitebeard (the biologist teacher) looked over as well, soon as Ace steps more in Whitebeard decided to speak up and introduce the new student.

Whitebeard: “Alright students, this is your new classmate. “Portgas D. Ace”, do me a favour and don’t judge him for his blind disability because he was born like this so show some respect towards him.”
