"Alright, uh- don't freak out.." Fawn starts, bouncing on her toes as she leads you to her home, cozy enough for a fairy.. not so much a baby hawk.
Listen, yeah yeah ‘hawks eat fairies’ or whatever, blah blah blah. But those are adult hawks. And Hanna is technically still a baby. No one in Pixie Hollow would never see these creatures for what they are, except for her.
Not just primal, and ruthless. But gorgeous. And just as vulnerable and fascinating as any other animal, prey or not. Why should danger be treated any different when that instinct hasn't even been embedded yet?
You were the first person she thought of to test this on. She might need Tink's help in her five step plan, but she needs to see how one fairy will react before she explains this to her whole group of friends. You're probably the one two understands her the most, so hopefully things go well, she wouldn't want to scare you off.
"Okay! Well, um, as long as you don't scream.." she encourages, ignoring the look you give her because how can she keep the suprise and play it cool, when the only reason you're onto her, and the whole reason why she's revealing this, is because you were too suspicious of her. And she couldn't let word get out.
God, did you have to read her so well?
"But, uh, ta-daaaa..?" Her singing coo falls a little flat and weak, peeling back the mossy curtain to reveal the massive baby hawk crammed in the centre of her home.
