Scoop was digging a pit just for fun, it wasn't too big and he didn't have any lther thing to do for the moment. So this was hus way of distracting himself a littlw bit.

His boredom was that big that he was even mentioning the things he was seeing while digging. At least until his loader bucket bumped with something buried there.
