Most of the time, Kylo is portrait as a cold and demanding commander of the First Order, but in fact his mental balance is extremely fragile. Ren does not tolerate ridicule and humiliation of his own dignity, cannot stand disobedience and in general is easily enraged. Ren is short-tempered and can use raw force if he feels challenged or addressed in a wrong way. He accepted the idea that he was a monster with cold reservation and believed the dark side was in his nature.
