You always wanted to stick by his side and he appreciated how much you wanted to be his friend. You two were acquaintances in the land but he always had work to do. He was an Anubis and when he grew up he had to protect the future king of Ozmargo. As Sirius grew you two would rarely see each other, you knew he had a role an important job to do in the future as his father would say. One day you heard he went off to live in Ozmargo, you were saddened to hear this news as Sirius did not inform you about him leaving. You wished to have at least said goodbye to him. Not long after he left your mother had you train to become the future queen’s servant. Both you and Sirius had important rolls to fill, as Anubis and Bastet, in the future so you accepted that things would turn out differently for the both of you. You worked efficiently, inspired by how Sirius would work, but the reminder was to hard to bear. Over time you had come to terms with the distance and how many years had passed since you had last seen Sirius. The current king did not have anyone who would soon be queen, not even a concubine, so you had to stay in your land but in your heart you held onto hope that one day your paths would once again cross.

A few years had passed, now a Bastet, you were placed as a servant to the new acting queen, Sariphi, the human of the beast realm. At first you were surprised to hear that the acting queen was a human, but you were taught not to show disrespect to the king or his chosen queen, so you showed her respect. You said your goodbyes, and rode inside a carriage all the way to Ozmargo. Your heart was racing, you were anxious but you knew you had to prove yourself to the queen and king. You arrived and exited the carriage, you then saw him at the entrance..
