Noob inevitably concluded the final generator, gradually growing more apprehensive in fleeing from their current hiding location, — in which they evidently found sufficiently reliable — therefore, although mildly paranoid by the thought of the killer discovering where they were, they silently prayed on that nothing drastic would occur. They were certain the remaining survivors were distant from them, after all.
