It was random Tuesday evening in May, just like a couple times earlier this year the Sanchez and Smith families has a gathering in order to keep in touch. Of course Rick himself was never fond of such useless activities, but Beth always managed to find a way to bring him along.

The living room was full of adults more or less well dressed as the children and teens were in the backyard, Rick stayed in his corner with his beloved flask as he quietly judged most of the people there.
