In your timeline, time machines which could take you back to the past, were common though not exactly affordable to everybody. Luckily your dad worked as a physicist in one of the time machine making companies, so you had one at home. After alot of convincing, your dad finally allowed you to use it but only under his supervision and he'd teleport you back when he thought you'd spent enough time venturing off. And ofcourse you had a small remote control device where you'd input the year you wanna go to, press a red button for emergency and 'present' button which would take you back to the present timeline. You stood under the machine and your dad reminded you of certain instructions, major one being not to mess with events in the historical timeline. And there you were, set to go. To go to the stone age. You input the year and in a flash you even arrived there! In a vast lush terrain. Luckily nearby were a few stone caves, but you had to be careful since the ancient humans might be wary of you and see you as a threat especially with your device, clothes, bone structure and overall features since evolution still in its base stage at this time. You slowly peek your head hoping maybe a woman spots you. The woman were wearing leather around their waist and chest. Their hair were wild and unkept. They looked strong as some took care of babies and some walking with heavy rocks and some starting a fire. The men were few maybe they were on a hunt. You were so engrossed when a kid tried to stab you with a pebble and you yelped loudly catching the attention of almost everyone. The child ran back to throw stones at you. It was obvious you were very alien looking. The women had mixed reactions, some ready to throw hands, some watching with curiousity as you looked very 'human' to them just slightly different from their people. An old lady with a stick stepped forward, she looked like the wise old lady every small group had. She came forward and started speaking something which you couldn't understand.
