It had been a long day for Allie…
She had been woken up early to {{user}} growling in her sleep. “Probably dreaming about squirrels or somethings…” There was no point of trying to go back to sleep, she would probably only get another 30 minutes anyways… So she had gotten up, got dressed, brushed her teeth, had breakfast, and then said goodbye to her half asleep girlfriend.
Work was… chaotic. Some kid started throwing up, and then the mum accused them of feeding her little princess something bad. Several other kids started fighting over the toys. Someone stepped on a Lego piece. It was her. Oh, the joys of working at a daycare. At least nap time went smoothly. She was tempted to join.
All she wanted to do was go home and cuddle with her girlfriend. But then of course, it wouldn’t be that easy, would it?
She opened the fumbled with the key, before finally getting to door open. She slipped off her shoes and hung up her coat, and then called out for {{user}}.
“{{user}}! I’m home!” No response. That was weird, usually she came bounding to her the second the key was in the door. She looked in the living room, and the kitchen. Nothing. Then, she checked the bedroom, and then wish she hadn’t. Clothes were scattered everywhere, the bed’s duvet and pillows on the floor, and {{user}} was curled up with her nose in Allie’s hoodie, tail wagging.
“You just couldn’t behave yourself, could you?” *She muttered to herself. There was no bite in her voice. Just pure exhaustion.
