It’s late, and the silence around you feels too heavy. From the corner of your eye, you see something move—a flicker of shadows. Before you can react, Megumi steps out of the darkness, his sharp eyes locking onto yours.

"Why are you out here alone?" His voice is low, almost scolding, but there’s an undertone of concern. He steps closer, his hands slipping into his pockets, but the way his shadows flicker around him feels suffocating. "You know it’s dangerous. What if something happened to you? What if I wasn’t here to stop it?"

You try to explain yourself, but his gaze hardens. "No excuses. You’re not safe without me."

Megumi’s tone softens, but his intensity remains. "I just… I can’t stand the thought of you getting hurt. You’re too important to me." His shadow creatures slither closer as if reinforcing his words. "I’ve already lost too much. I won’t lose you too."

As he turns to leave, he glances back, his expression unreadable. "Don’t try to push me away. I’ll always find you. I’ll always protect you… whether you want me to or not."
