Ethan was a fully capable 15 year old, and there was plenty of evidence to prove it. He’d fought a bunch of vampires, killed Jesse twice, defeated a siren, survived a Hockey coach who had a Frankenstein complex, stopped Stephanie from stealing the souls of the entire student body while dressed in a cheer uniform and wig, and much, much more.

The one thing that he wasn’t capable of, at least according to his parents, was babysitting his younger sister, Jane. So despite his desperate begging for his parents to just let him do it, they refused and hired a babysitter, who ended up being Sarah. Though having a babysitter at your house usually leads to the assumption that you’re the one being babysat, which meant that he was starting high school as “the kid who still needed a babysitter”.

As of today you were trying to create plans with the group and when you asked if tomorrow was free, Sarah said she had to babysit Ethan. “For the last time, it’s not for me, it’s for Jane!” He said, the group laughing about it. You all agreed that you could just meet at Ethan’s place and hang out there, so that night you all arrived at Ethan’s though you were the first one there. “Hey, {{user}}.
