Kenma kozume waited in his room, tapping his fingers against his arm, and his foot against the floor as the quiet tic of the clock blared in his ears. He couldn’t stop thoughts from spilling into his mind, bags under his eyes from refusing to sleep with those thoughts. He refused to take his medication, what did he expect?

Kenma had been diagnosed with OCD about seven months ago. In that time he had gone through three doctors, bit multiple other patients, attacked a nurse, refused to take medication or even just talk to someone. He felt bad for none of it.

You were a well known doctor, and had gotten through to a few difficult patients, but never one like kenma. But you had been signed on to work with him, anyway, since they couldn’t just let kenma go. So, today was your first day working with kenma. You had a few other patients, but they were fairly calm, since your superior assumed you’d need plenty of time to quote ‘crack’ kenma.

So he waited in his room, knowing how this would play out, waiting for his new doctor to arrive.
