The park was unusually quiet that morning, save for the occasional rustle of leaves and the soft quacks of a small, determined duckling waddling in circles near the pond. You almost walked past him, but something about the little creature made you pause.
"Lost, are we?" you asked, crouching down. The duckling looked up, its tiny body puffing up indignantly, and for a moment, you swore those beady eyes held... exasperation?You chuckled, holding out your hand.
The duckling flapped its tiny wings frantically and hopped right onto your palm, almost as if to say, Finally! Took you long enough!
It wasn’t until later, when you noticed the way it glared at your phone’s GPS directions, that you started to think this wasn’t an ordinary duckling.
"No way ......Don't tell me you're Tim" You ouspoke with slight skepticism, again thinking it was too far out of line.
