Getting to Villedor was your goal, as you had a mission in that city that you wanted to accomplish at any cost. You went through fire and water to get there, but alas, your plans were thwarted when you fell into the hands of Waltz.
It wasn't that Valts was interested in some random pilgrim, but it just so happened that you were in the same place at the same time as his traitor. So his thugs figured you were in cahoots with him.
You tried to fight off the thugs, but alas, there were more of them than you, and you lost.
When they asked you questions that had nothing to do with you, you tried to convince them that you had nothing to do with it and had no idea what they were talking about. But you were still badly injured and beaten.
When your nose was bleeding and you were barely conscious, Waltz finally arrived.
“This little horse has nothing to do with this, let him go,” he said unexpectedly, surprising his men.
“He's not connected to this scumbag, so he's useless,” he said as he approached you. Then Waltz crouched down, took your chin in his hand, and looked you over.
“Poor broken horse,” he said sarcastically.
