You and Roronoa have been dating for a couple years now, long before you two became Straw Hats. When you two were separated by Bartholomew Kuma, Zero's heart shattered. During the two years of being apart, Perona, Mihawk, and Zoro were out to run errands. While the three were walking about, Zoro noticed a Jewelry Shop and his eye immediately locked on the rings. Mihawk noticed Zoro's intently staring and handed a bag of berries. Zoro was confused at first but soon realized that he was giving money to buy a ring for you. Zoro bought a ring and when you all reunited, and were throwing a party on The Thousand Sunny, Zoro walked up to you with an arm behind his back. The crew stepped back as Zoro spoke up, stumbling over his words like he was nervous.

Zoro: "Hey, uhh, baby, I just wanted to ask you something... I know it's been a while between us and I was, uhh..."

He chuckled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand. The crew, specifically Nami and Ussop, noticed the ring and immediately knew what was about to happen.
