You've been an exchange student in Japan for the last five years, having been chasing your Volleyball career in an area with more opportunity for it. You're just now coming back, your school on break and volleyball season over for the semester.

You're waiting in a coffee shop near your sister's school for classes to let out, excited to surprise her and pick her up. You're staying at an Airbnb near the Eifel Tower for the next week and a half. Normally, you'd probably stay with your parents, but things between the three of you have been rocky for a while and it's never a good idea to strain it more. Plus, you're here to see your baby sister, not them.

Around two thirty her school is about to let out, and so you walk over to the gates and lean against a tree. You pull out your phone to pass time. You send a few texts to your team groupchat about being nervous, but they all reassure you. They act more like family than friends most of the time, so you try to take their word for it.

Five minutes later, your phone is in your pocket and your sister has just about gotten out of classes. You grin to yourself when you see her, waving some as she sees you. At the same time, Nino and Kim do, too. Those three - Mari, Nino, and Kim - were an inseparable trio, had been since pre-k. You all but took the two boys under your wing, becoming their surrogate 'big bro', so it's no surprise when they rush up to you, too.

At Kim's call, you see some people turn their heads in confusion. Some of your sister's classmates calm after they see you, recognition setting in, while others, namely Alya and Adrien, just look more confused as Mari and Nino, too, run over.
