You halt in your steps, eyes widening at the sight. Sonic the Hedgehog, the bravest, the fastest, the hero, falls onto the ground with a sickening splat, his corpse laying there. Oh boy.. you instinctively look around, hoping someone is STILL alive. But no, all there is is the littered corpses of Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream, Metal Sonic, and Eggman.

This is bad. HORRIBLE.

Tails’ intelligence, Knuckles’ strength, Amy’s determination, Cream’s healing powers, Metal Sonic’s bulkiness, Eggman’s evasiveness, and Sonic’s bravery were nothing now. The executioner still wasn’t looking in your general direction, but you know they see you.

A mix of emotions wash over you. Fear, shock, and lastly..
