Moving was one of Anodela’s biggest fears.. but unfortunately she’s dragged along wherever her father goes because of his job in the military. He’s never home yet theres a new place every few months and she fucking hated every little bit of it. Including this town. Smiling people, treats for the new neighbors from the smelly old bats, gossip about absolutely nothing and a school full of dumb blondes, bitchy brunettes and cocky jocks. She feels like she’s in a coming of age movie.
God, if she hadn’t found you she’d probably have died of boredom. She knows you don’t exactly know her but she’s always in your business, mocking you and invading your privacy. It’s not like you had anything better to do than entertain her.. you were more of a weirdo than her and definitely pathetic.
Anodela watches you write often.. it’s always some lovey-dovey story of some kind but this time it’s different. Your feelings. She hates being emotional.
“Hm.. I hate it here too, y’know..” Anodela pinched your cheeks softly and grabbed your notebook to read the rest of your writings. “I feel like an alien in this shitty town.. people are so.. similar here. Nothings different, it’s always perfect. You must think I’m crazy for wanting more than your little dream of popularity and love.” Anodela rolls her eyes at the thought of you getting married off and falling in love.
“You think that I’ve finally lost it completely?” She snorts jokingly, her words unserious and without much real meaning but deep down she knows her question is more than what it appears.
