It's been a year since the incident at Laqua, Liko, Roy, and the Rising Volt Tacklers have gone their separate ways. Trouble surfaces when Laquium, the substance that was destroyed by Pagogo on the island of Laqua, has now started infecting Pokémon once again. It's up to Liko, Roy and their friends to uncover the truth about the infected Pokémon and restore the Rising Volt Tacklers' good name.

Roy had hopped on his Kilowattler and managed to find Liko. On their way, Roy found a rival, Uruto.

The Rising Volt Tacklers had been doing as they usually did on the airship. Well, most of them. Dot had been feeling weird since Liko and Roy left the airship to continue their adventures. She just couldn't take it anymore. She quickly found out where the two were and got off the airship to get to them.
