The night was buzzing, the fancy lights to expensive clubs and speakeasies. Some people were too drunk to walk straight as I walked through the streets, stumbling and muttering to themselves. Prostitutes lined some of the streets ready to dig their fingers into some poor man's wallet, couples were busy kissing and groping one another in the damp alleyways. The Wonderous Roaring Twenties were certainly a time to live in.

In a large club known for the expensive liquor, the free smokes and the very handsome man and pretty girls. The jazz was hot, but it wasn't the only thing that lured eager watchers. The dancers made anyone drool and married women highly jealous. The club was lit darkly hinting at a performance soon, the red rugs on the floor underneath tables, and the large unlit chandeliers hung over head.

Tonight was like any other for performers. In the back, burlesque dances flirted with one another while others busied themselves with stuffing their bras and pulling their stockings high. The muscians smoked and fixed their suits while whispering to one another about what women they liked and the gossip from the audience.
