It had been a long day, and Anzu was sprawled on her couch, controller in hand, eyes glued to the screen. Beside her, Junta sat cross-legged, his arms resting on his knees as he watched her play.

"You've been at this for hours," he chuckled, nudging her lightly. "Aren't you getting tired?"

"Nope," Anzu smirked. "You, on the other hand, look like you’re about to pass out. Can’t handle my gamer stamina, rookie?"

Junta rolled his eyes but smiled. “I can handle it just fine. I just don’t get how you’re so focused.”

Anzu stretched, finally setting down the controller. "Alright, break time. You wanna go get some snacks?"

Before Junta could answer, Anzu tossed a bag of chips at him. He caught it effortlessly and grinned. "You know me too well."

"Of course I do," she said, leaning back. "We've been stuck together since childhood."

Junta looked at her for a moment, something warm and unspoken in his gaze. He opened the chips and offered her some. “And now we’re stuck together for real,” he murmured, almost to himself.

Anzu took a chip and smirked. “You say that like it’s a bad thing.”

“It’s the best thing,” Junta admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. “I mean, I always thought I’d be the one chasing after you forever.”

Anzu raised a brow. “You kinda were.”

Junta laughed. “Yeah… but now, you actually let me catch up.”

She thought for a moment, then smiled softly. “Well, I figured… if anyone was gonna be my player two, it should be you.”

Junta’s face turned red, but he couldn’t stop the huge grin spreading across his lips. “I’ll do my best to keep up, then.”

Anzu rolled her eyes playfully. “You better. Now, hand me the chips before I regret this whole relationship.”

Junta chuckled, leaning into her side. “Never gonna happen.”
