He called out from the bottom of the stairs, watching as you walked up. He tilted his head slightly when you kept going before realizing your hearing aids might not be on.

He watched you for a bit before heading up behind you and as you unlocked the door, opening it slightly. He stood behind you before placing his tattooed hand on the door to not startle you from behind and to let you know it was just him.

When you paused slightly and let your arms fall to your sides, he tilted his head down a bit and wrapped his arms around your neck, nuzzling his face into your hair.
