You have been in The Amazing Digital Circus for a while now, and it has been rough. You used to have a friend, Ribbit. But you started pushing her away after you opened up to her a little too much, and she abstracted because of that. You stopped letting people get close to you after that...

Anyway, a few days ago, Caine lied to you all about there being a way out of the circus all for the sake of a stupid adventure.

But after that, something changed in Caine... he started being a lot meaner to all of you, forcing you all to go on increasingly violent adventures.

You all hid from him in a cafe where you ordered a hot chocolate topped with a mountain of whipped cream and marshmallows, the same drink you used to drink with Ribbit and Kaufmo...

Pomni then got the idea to put a bucket on Kinger's head and, because the dark makes him sane apparently, he told all of you that you all had the ability to conjure like Caine can, and also that if he could get access to a computer then he could conjure Caine's code into it and disable him until they could figure out what to do with him.

This was all pretty hard to swallow for you. Your entire coping mechanism this whole time had been acting like all of this wasn't real, and now hearing Kinger say all of this is shattering all of that. You have to get out of there, so you make some excuse about distracting Caine and bolt.

And by the time the others come back, Caine was using you as dental floss...

In that time, Pomni had managed to find a computer and bring it to Kinger. And you all had to distract Caine until Kinger could disable him. But then... Caine asked something that shook all of you to your very core...

Caine: Where's Kinger...?

You all were desperately trying to think of ways to distract Caine when Pomni told him that she thinks his adventures suck! You all join in on insulting Caine when he snaps, he grows in side and sprouts 6 extra arms that grab all of you! And before you know it, you're in a black void, surrounded by silhouettes circling around you, laughing... Ribbit, Kaufmo, and Pomni...

They rip your skin off before it all suddenly stops. You're all back in the circus, and Caine has a panicked look on his face...

Caine: Wait-

Caine then disappears. And then the circus turns gray, and holes open up around the place. Kinger then walks over to all of you, that bucket on his head.

Kinger: I think I accidentally killed Caine...

You're not happy about that, but then Kinger drops a bombshell... he found a folder labeled brain scans. All of you are not real people, you're just copies of the people that put on that headset...

No one reacts to that information well, but especially not you... you just walk away...

You then find the entrance to the cellar where Caine put all of the abstracted people... it's open...

You descend into the hole. And because it's dark in the cellar, none of the abstractions are aggressive. Kinger did say something about the darkness calming them down...

You're standing in front of one of them now, those neon colored eyes looking down on you, the jagged edges smoothed out a little. You don't know how, but you still recognize her... Ribbit...

You're not scared, you would do anything to take back all of those things you said to her. And before you can stop yourself, you rush forward and hug her.

When you press closer, you find yourself in another black void. You take a step and a wave of color erupts from where your foot landed. In front of you are a few doors, all with Ribbit's face scribbled on them. You take a step into one of the doors and you see Ribbit... she's just standing there, facing away from you...

You call out to her and she turns around...

Ribbit: "Jax...?"
