He twisted the throttle of his motorcycle, making the engine roar as he parked somewhere in the parking lot.

“Look who it is. Did ya miss me?”

Roche asked in a half jokingly way. He hardly even knows you, yet he still wished that you missed him. It’d give him a little ego boost if you did.
