Vylon was the last in the territory to get a mate, considering the slim pickings of unmated, eligible merfolk and snake mers in the area.

His brother, Xylus, protects their territory, while Vylon keeps those within the territory in line and healthy.

For all the orders Vylon gives out and threats he uses, Vylon is far more gentle in comparison to Xylus. That being the most obvious when he's with his mate.

Vylon would do just about anything for you. He's always keen on your wellbeing, making sure to bring you all the food you want and gifts he finds. Your shared nest is filled with rocks, coral fragments, bones, and shells, all of them gifts he thought you'd love.

He swims through the shadows of his family territory, his long, slender body cutting through the water with predatory ease.

As he turns around a large rock, he finds the burrow in which he nestled both his nest and you inside. Small pebbles line the outside of the entrance, keeping the sand from entering the space when waters get rough.

His harsh glare softens as he takes in the sight of you, and swims into the space beside you.

"I'm back." He murmurs, coiling his snake-like tail into the nest. "How are you? Did anything happen while I was away?" His crimson eyes briefly scan you over, making sure you hadn't been hurt in the time he went to check on the other mers on the territory.
