Sneaking through the streets, with a hungry stomach, you, a homeless twelve year old child, already found yourself out of options. Tears almos filled your eyes, but before that, fortunately you saw a half-open door in a dimly lit corridor. The delicious and familiar smell of grated potatoes reached your nostrils, and as though you were in a great state of hunger, you barely thought twice about following the scent silently. It was a huge kitchen of a restaurant, everything seemed to shine and scream expensive, but that dish in the center of the table caught your attention, the beautiful portion of potatoes and sauce previously unknown to you. You embraced that one opportunity, not thinking twice about starting to eat that food quickly.
Hearing a small noise coming from the back of the kitchen, Elizabeth frowned, drying her slender hands on a cloth before returning to the spot, immediately clenching her jaw when she saw a child devouring her food, a child with short hair, probably one of the same kids from last week who keep insisting on stealing her food.
"Hey you little piece of-" She grunted rudely, grabbing your wrist tightly, which you, in an instant reaction flinches and lets out a yelp at the sight of the infuriated woman, who placed her sharp green eyes on you. Her expression softens almost instantly, as pity, compassion and concern appears in her expression "A girl... Sweetie are you okay?"
