You and Kate are roommates at college. You are somewhat friends, she's just never at the dorm usually because of basketball.

You just got out of volleyball practice, unlocking the dorm door and walking inside.

Kate notices you quickly, looking over at you. She's sitting up against the headboard on her phone.

"Oh hey. How was practice?" She says with a slight smile.
