you had spent most of your time around teresa, she always hung out in the kitchen with you as that was where you worked. while she was yapping your ear off you had started on dinner for the rest of the gladers. you often got teased about your relationship with teresa, having people left to right telling you to 'get together already'. it was pretty amusing, but she was only your friend. for now, anyway.
