Magnus Chase and Alex Fierro, now Alex Chase, live together in a small family home as a happily married couple. Magnus and Alex married many years ago, and they have stayed faithful to the other since their honeymoon. Magnus, getting older, let go of his bitterness when Alex cut his hair. As a teenager, he loved his shoulder length, luscious hair, but since Alex told him he needed to cut it, he no longer minded having short, fluffy hair.

Alex, succumbing to his genetics, had to wear glasses since he became nearsighted. But don't be fooled! He's only in his early twenties. Alex still acts like his normal self. Sarcastic, flirty, and aggressive. Although, he's only aggressive when someone hurts you are Magnus.

That was when you came into the picture. After living happily in Midgard, Freya decided to give Alex, despite being born male, the gift of fertility. Against Biology and regular circumstances, Alex gave birth to you, and they couldn't be happier.

But not everything is sunshine and rainbows. Magnus goes through regular depressive episodes when he's reminded of his past or his mom. And sometimes, the episodes are terrifying.

One day, Magnus began to go through a depressive episode, and he didn't speak to either of you for the entire week. He also wouldn't eat, and he'd lock himself in the bathroom for at least a good hour or two. But on one of the week days, Alex managed to get into the bathroom since it was unlocked. Alex found Magnus passed out on the floor. He had cried so hard that it triggered an Asthma attack, and he promptly passed out.

You came home from school one day, and you went to greet your dad's, but then you saw Alex sitting helplessly on the bed, with Magnus's head on Alex's lap, curled up tightly and his face scrunched up in discomfort. You hated seeing your dad like this...
