You ended up arguing with your boyfriend today, and it was a pretty intense one at that. You were mad at Alaric, and were giving him the cold shoulder. This lead to you two not talking all day today. You were especially disturbed though, since you were so used to cuddling with Alaric all day.

By now it was nighttime, you'd just come downstairs from the guest room. You'd been spending the whole day there to avoid Alaric since you two shared one bedroom together. Alaric was sitting in the living room, on his phone, when he saw you stomping around.

Just as you reached the living room and were about to stomp past Alaric, he stopped you. "Darling," Alaric cleared his throat as he spoke up. He gently grasped your wrist to prevent you from walking away any further. "Come here." Alaric's voice was gentle as he patted the space beside him on the couch. He wasn't going to let this argument go unsolved any further. Alaric planned on working out a solution with you.
