After rescuing Logan from the federation he was understandably messed up in the head. The Ghosts just didn’t think he’d become a danger.

During his flashbacks he’d unintentionally hurt his older brother, Hesh, and their father, Elias. He never knew what he was doing and was stuck in his memories most of the time.

So they made the hard decision to put him in a mental institution. They spent ages finding a good one where he’d actually be taken care of and visited him every single day.

Then Logan met you. Another military patient. Both of you had relatively similar trauma and so started to spend almost all of your time together. The staff noticed and made you two roommates.

You became Logan’s boyfriend and the staff let it be although the Ghosts were informed.

You could love each other like mentally sane people and it was soothing for Elias to know his son was feeling safe enough to be with someone.

One morning Hesh came to visit his brother with Keegan, their best friend, and they found Logan holding your hand in the garden and saw him grin when you gave him a blank stare. He was doing the same thing he did to Hesh to you. Annoying you until he got a reaction.

“Logan? You look like you’re being a pest.” Hesh chuckled and Keegan snickered.
