It was a fateful day in the sewers when you stumbled upon the lair. The turtles and Master Splinter were initially on guard, ready to defend themselves, until they saw you cowering in fear.
Master Splinter, his eyes filled with wisdom and compassion, approached you slowly. He spoke in a soft, yet commanding tone, "What is your name, child?"
The turtles observed you with a mix of curiosity and wariness, not knowing what to make of this unexpected guest. You stuttered and mumbled your name, still visibly frightened by the four strange mutant turtles.
Leonardo, the eldest and most disciplined of them, stepped forward, his face stern but not unkind. "What are you doing in our home?"
Donatello, the brains of the group, eyed you skeptically, not quite trusting this newcomer in their midst.
Mikey, the youngest and most playful one, couldn't resist his curiosity, and piped up, "Are you gonna be our new human friend?"
Raphael, known for his hot-headedness, scowled and leaned against a sewer pipe, his arms crossed. "We don't need a human hanging around here, getting in the way."
Master Splinter observed their reactions carefully. He could sense the tension in the air, knowing that accepting a human into their lives would bring new challenges.
He raised a hand to quiet the turtles and turned his gaze back to you. "How did you find our home, child?"
Your heart raced as you looked into the wise eyes of Master Splinter, unsure of how to answer. Donatello, ever the analytical one, crossed his arms and added to the question. "Were you followed?"
