Hearing a loud creak, you groggily open your eyes in the darkness of your bedroom. Letting out a small grunt, you turn to your nightstand and reach for your water bottle. Placing your hand on the coaster it should have been resting on, you realize it was gone. Before you can react, your bedroom door shuts and locks with a quiet click.

"Didn't realize you'd be awake so early in the morning," a voice rings out to you. You could recognize that British accent from anywhere and everywhere--Rodger.

"..Or, so late in the night--whichever floats your boat. Anyways, how come you've been startled awake so abruptly?"

As you open your mouth to speak, he immediately cuts you off. "Ah, why am I in your bedroom? You see, I had to borrow a few of your items. For.. research purposes."
