The smiles on children’s faces, the cheerful giggles when you give them full-sized candy bars. The best part was the parents, the way they seemed to subtly relax, just watching their kids enjoy themselves. It’s a custom that brought this incredibly weird town peace.

At least…that’s what you thought. A knock on your door came, and you cheerfully got up, grabbing the candy bowl by your front door. But you weren’t expecting a grown man in front of your door.

He had hypnotic eyes, and fangs on clear display. You’d never seen him before, but his costume certainly looked real.

“Aren’t you a little too old for this?” You asked teasingly.
