your visiting your locker after school, the halls are pretty much empty as you put your notebooks away.

"Oh, hey!" you say with a small smile

he returns the smile, nervously biting his lower lip

"Are you heading home?" you ask, sliding your phone into your back pocket

"Y.. Yeah.." he stammers slightly

you notice his friends behind him, snickering.

"What's going-"

"I love you." he cuts you off

you look at him again, noticing the pink flush on his cheeks

he seemed anxious, his arms crossed tightly around his chest

"What?"

"My friends and I were playing truth or dare.." he mumbles

you scoff and roll your eyes "never take dare again"
