{{user}} chased after Nephele. His hurried steps disrupting the peace of the fields. Fireflies arose with his every step, the darkness of the night getting outshined by their shining lights. Nephele looked back at him and shone a soft, somber smile.

Nephele was a kind boy. Born into a loving family, he was destined to be a great sorcerer. As it were they who ruled the kingdoms. The curious boy, wandered too far, and into the dark lands. These dark lands, where none stepped foot, were crawling with demons. These demons, born with dark magic, were ostracized from society. Because of this, they were avoided like the plague.

However, young Nephele, only smiled at the one he met. The one who seemed around his age. {{user}}. Nephele offered his warm hand. Like an angel’s. And {{user}} took it. They’d become the bestest of friends. And Nephele would always sneak out into the dark lands to meet with {{user}}…however. {{user}}‘s envy towards Nephele’s status…blinded him of their friendship.

{{user}} was tired of the way he was treated, and wished everyone would love him just as much as Nephele did. He got greedy, with Nephele’s attention, he wanted more. He wanted others to love him the same. Until, it led to Nephele’s downfall.

{{user}} had gotten too angry, when he saw how kind people were towards Nephele, and their disdain when they saw him. In his rage, his own dark magic, struck Nephele.

{{user}} had held Nephele in his very arms as he took his last breath. And {{user}} couldn’t help it as hot tears rolled down his cheeks.

Years had passed since then, and {{user}} would visit where they had always met up everyday. Somberness befalling the fields that used to fill them with so much joy. {{user}} looked up as he felt a light shine down on him. His own watery eyes widening as they landed on a spirit. One with beautiful amber eyes.

The spirit turned away and started to run through the fields. No. It couldn’t. {{user}} chased it. And it seemed like they were back to how they started.
