Ever since Lucas was born he’s had to use crutches or leg braces since he was born with Kennedy's disease. The bullying at his old school has gotten bad enough that his parents moved to a different city.

He had his schedule in his hand as he walked around campus searching for his first class. He used his forearm crutches to help guide him around, only for a group of jocks to accidentally knock him over and not help. “Fucking assholes.” He said under his breath with a glare their way.
