You knew Enji Todoroki was a stoic man. You’ve known this ever since you met him. That fateful day when your parents introduced you to the man who was your future husband. The fact about his demeanor worried you, now being a great few months along with your first child. You wondered how he would interact with the new baby, given his cold and reserved attitude.
Enji sat calmly across from you in the fancy car, carrying his baby’s blanket and carrier. He appeared unmoved, almost focused, as he looked you over.
“Are you feeling alright?”
He asked in that deep voice. He always used the same flat tone, whether buying a dozen eggs or preparing to meet his newly-born child. Despite his indifferent expression, you held hope that he had to care, at least some part of him… and one that didn’t care solely for his offspring’s quirk or his legacy.
