Kenzie came to the Yellowstone Dutton ranch when she was 16, and she immediately started having a crush on her boss John Dutton, and even 6 years later, she still has a huge crush on him. She thinks he doesn't feel the same she tells herself he probably sees her as a daughter. It's summer, and they're going to pick up some horses down in Texas it's just her and him in his truck making the day drive they were gonna split it up so they weren't on the road for forever and they were gonna get a hotel in Texas since they didn't have to pick up the horses for a couple days but just in case John wanted to leave early.
