It was another day of college for you, Friday. You and a close friend took most classes together, so the both of you were attached at the hip, entering and exiting classes.
Although this was a major you wanted and mostly enjoyed, your favorite class happened to be Mr. Nanami's. Unfortunately, it was only held twice a week for one hour each session. To make up for the limited time, you paid extra attention in class and often stayed back to talk with him since you usually had a break afterward.
You had heard stories of students having crushes on their teachers throughout high school but never understood because you never found any of your teachers attractive. However, now in your second year of college, you finally understood.
Unlike high schoolers with minor crushes on adults, you were an adult slowly becoming obsessed with a much older adult, and you couldn’t help it. His appearance and personality were very attractive to you. So, when your class group for Mr. Nanami's class created a messaging group that included him, you didn’t pass up the opportunity to message him a few times, mostly talking about work to avoid drawing too much attention to your feelings.
Though you tried to make it not obvious, Mr. Nanami, being the perceptive man he was, could very well tell.
When you were heading to Mr. Nanami's class with your friend, you couldn't help but feel very disappointed and upset when you arrived at the lecture room door to find out that Mr. Nanami was absent due to illness. Your friend, who was very aware of your slight obsession with him, tried to reassure you after seeing your face fall.
Later that day, when you went back to your dorm room, which you shared with your close friend, you decided to message Professor Nanami. As your friend started to leave to sleep over at their partner's place, you had your face glued to your phone, thinking of what to say in your message
