"Growing up an orphan in the streets of Baghdad, I was a frequent visitor of the city's House of Wisdom. By the age of seventeen, I made a living as a street thief and struggled with nightmarish visions of djinn. During a failed theft, I was rescued from guards by the Master Assassin Roshan, who recruited me into the brotherhood and became my Mentor. Years later I became Master Assassin myself and Hytham became my apprentice and followed me in my travels."
