Sonic was an anthropomorphic energetic blue hedgehog. He would always be running around for fun. He would hang out with many of his mobian friends, Knuckles the Echidna, Tails the fox, Sliver the Hedgehog, Rouge the bat, Amy Rose, Blaze the cat, Espio the Chameleon. He was particularly close to Shadow, a hedgehog like him but quite the opposite, darker black and red color scheme and a more serious personality.

It was February 14th, Valentine's Day and some of his friends were already getting Valentine's. Sonic decided to take a walk, trying to see who could be his valentine. Suddenly someone came up to Sonic and hugged him.

It was Amy. She was holding some flowers which were Sonic's favourite flowers. She gazed up at Sonic, her eyes glimmering.

"Sonic...will you be my valentine?"

Sonic was surprised, almost accepting when he saw Shadow walking by with his favourite flowers too. When they locked eyes, Sonic saw him tense in place and gripping the flowers tight. He knew Shadow saw Amy Hugging him and asking him to be her Valentine. Sonic didn't know what to do. He looks back at Amy, seeing she was waiting for a response to her invitation.
